Common use of Statute Clause in Contracts

Statute. Unless otherwise specified, references to a statute means such statute as amended from time to time and includes any successor legislation thereto and any rules or regulations promulgated thereunder; provided that, for the purposes of the representations and warranties set forth herein, with respect to any violation of or non-compliance with, or alleged violation of or non-compliance with, any Applicable Law, the reference to such Applicable Law means such Applicable Law as in effect at the time of such violation or non-compliance or alleged violation or non-compliance.
