Common use of Standard Workday Clause in Contracts

Standard Workday. The standard workday shall be eight (8) working hours within eight and one-half (8 1/2) on the Employer’s premises. Whenever practical, split shifts will be abolished. The Employer may establish a regular schedule of ten (10) hour workdays within ten and one-half (10 ½) hours on the Employer’s premises.
