HOURS OF WORK, OVERTIME AND PREMIUM PAY. Section 1 The University reserves the right to determine and/or amend daily hours of work, weekly work schedules or standard work week and pay day in conformance with all sections of this agreement.

The provisions of this Article are intended to provide a base for determining the number of hours of work for which an employee shall be entitled to be paid at overtime rates and shall not be construed as a guarantee to such employee of any specified number of hours of work, either per day or per week, or as limiting the right of the City to fix the number of hours of work (including overtime) either per day or per week for such employee. The department shall post two (2) two-week schedules in such a manner that the current schedule shall be accompanied by the succeeding two week schedule.
