Common use of Standard Setting Clause in Contracts

Standard Setting. The WECC will develop and adopt reliability, operating, and planning standards, criteria and guidelines necessary to maintain the reliable operation of the Western Interconnection’s interconnected bulk power system, including seeking, as appropriate, variances from standards of the ERO (or any successor organization which may be created by legislation or otherwise), as well as providing a process for regional variances.
