Common use of Staff Training Clause in Contracts

Staff Training. (1) The Institution may sponsor a staff for courses or training approved by the Institution to upgrade the staff’s skills and knowledge. The Institution shall provide time off for the staff to sit for examinations for such sponsored courses. (2) The Institution shall grant Union officials paid leave of absence to attend training, courses and seminars organised by the Union or NTUC subject to exigencies of service.
