Spousal Relocation. The Employer may grant leave without pay for a period of up to one (1) year, at the request in writing of an employee, for personal reasons, which may include the permanent relocation of a spouse. Leave without pay granted under this clause shall be deducted from the calculation of continuous employment for the purposes of calculating pay increments, severance pay and vacation leave for the employee involved, except where the period of leave is less than three (3) months.
