Split Shift Allowance. A time allowance of whichever is the greater of (l) fifteen minutes or (2) one minute for each two minutes of scheduled spread time in excess of ten hours but not in excess of eleven hours and one minute for each minute of scheduled spread time in excess of eleven hours, will be made for each split assignment of the kind defined below for an employee who may be required to work such a split assignment, viz., a scheduled day’s work, exclusive of any overtime work, which includes a single continuous period, in addition to any scheduled rest or meal period, between the scheduled starting time and the scheduled finishing time during which period no work is scheduled and which period is not included in the pay time for said scheduled day’s work. Split Shift Allowance. An employee required to work a split shift in accordance with sub-clause 11.1.3 (Rostering principles) is entitled to an allowance of $12.36 for that shift provided the rostered break is greater than 2 hours.
Split Shift Allowance. Where employees are required to work split shifts on any given day an allowance of $10.00 per day will be paid while the split shift requirement remains.

24.1. If a Full time Employee or Part time Employee has been directed to work 2 or more split shifts in one day separated by at least 2 hours, the Employer will pay the Employee an allowance of $4.70 for each separate work period of 2 hours or more.
24.2. The Employee will not be entitled to receive this allowance if the broken shift arrangement for the day was implemented at the Employee's request.
Split Shift Allowance. 22.1 This clause applies to any full time or part time hospitality employee who works split shifts on any day.
22.2 Pulse will pay the employee an allowance as outlined in Table 2 of Schedule A.
22.3 Where split shifts are worked, the spread of hours can be no greater than twelve (12) ordinary hours per day.
22.4 If a hospitality employee covered by this Agreement works a split shift, working one (1) shift as a hospitality employee and one (1) shift as a retail employee, they will not be paid the split shift allowance.

Split Shift Allowance. A split shift allowance of $8.00 per occasion will be paid when an employee is required to complete a split shift as defined in clause 4.4.
Split Shift Allowance. The Board agrees to pay monthly (commencing in September) over a ten month period, a mileage allowance to Head Custodians who are on a split shift. Commencing the allowance will be per month to a maximum of per year, and commencing July per month to a maximum of per year. All claims for this allowance must be made on the appropriate claims form. A split shift Head Custodian shall be one who has a break of two (2) hours or more between the first part of shift. The complete shift, however, must be completed within ten and one half hours from starting time.
Split Shift Allowance a) A split shift is an already agreed shift of work that is interrupted by non-paid and non-working time periods established by ERLC.
b) A split shift can only happen once within a shift of work.
c) The time period between the shifts needs to be longer than a bona fide meal period, and needs to be within the same working day.
d) Where an employee agrees to a split shift they will be paid a Split Shift Allowance in recognition of the change in their work roster.
