Speedometers. The Authority will pay the fines assessed for speeding against any employee driving a vehicle of the Authority not equipped with a speedometer, or if equipped with a speedometer and the speedometer is not in working order at the time of the offense, and if investigation discloses that the employee was not operating recklessly under the circumstances prevailing at the time of the offense. The Authority will review, upon request, traffic violations, accidents and other disputes which occur while operating an Authority vehicle to determine whether legal representation shall be provided by the Authority. The Union will be notified prior to the final disposition to represent.
