SPECIALIZED SKILL. Each certificated support person demonstrates in his/her performance a competent level of skill and knowledge in designing and conducting specialized programs of prevention, instruction, remediation and evaluation. Performance Indicators: Design and conduct a program providing specific and unique services within the individual’s specific discipline; Demonstrate ability to synthesize and integrate testing and non-testing data concerning the student: to help students integrate and assimilate data; to help others involved with the student interpret and use data appropriately and accurately; to hep other specialists by providing case study materials; Administer assessment procedures or to organize and prepare those who will administer assessment procedures; Demonstrate ability to assist teachers and administrators integrate specialized information into the regular curricular program; Develop goals and objectives consistent with district-level goals and objectives which will facilitate the implementation of program and services.
