Common use of Special Provisions for Leave Recipients Clause in Contracts

Special Provisions for Leave Recipients. With respect to any Branch Employee who is not actively at work on the Closing Date as a result of an approved leave of absence (including military leave with reemployment rights under federal law and leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993) (collectively, the “Leave Recipients”), Purchaser shall make an offer of employment in the manner required by Section 8.7(a)(i), contingent on such Leave Recipient’s return to active status within six (6) months following the Closing Date or such longer period as may be required by applicable law.
