Common use of Special Instructions Clause in Contracts

Special Instructions. As used herein, the term "Special Instructions" shall mean Proper Instructions countersigned or confirmed in writing by, in the case of the entities listed in Schedules A-1 or A-2 hereto, the Treasurer or any Assistant Treasurer of the Funds or any other person designated in writing by the Treasurer of the Funds, and in the case of each of the entities listed on Schedules A-3 or A-4, by the officer who is a signatory to this Agreement on behalf of such entity or any other person designated in writing by such officer or an officer of such entity of higher authority, which countersignature or written confirmation shall be (i) included on the same instrument containing the Proper Instructions or on a separate instrument relating thereto, and (ii) delivered by hand, by facsimile transmission, or in such other manner as the parties hereto may agree in writing. (c) Address for Proper Instructions and Special Instructions. Proper Instructions and Special Instructions shall be delivered to the Custodian at the address and/or telephone, telecopy or telex number agreed upon from time to time by the Custodian and the Funds. Section 3.02.
