Common use of Source of Rights Clause in Contracts

Source of Rights. There is reserved exclusively to the Board all responsibilities, powers, rights and authority vested it by the laws and constitution of Michigan and the United States or which have been heretofore properly exercised by it, excepting where expressly, and in specific terms, limited by the provisions of this Agreement. It is further recognized by the Board, in meeting such responsibilities and in exercising its powers and rights, acts through its administrative staff. It is agreed that the Board retains the responsibilities for establishing and equitably enforcing reasonable rules and rights including, but not limited to, the rights:
