Common use of Solid Waste Facilities Clause in Contracts

Solid Waste Facilities. 4.6.1 The building shall include designated space for five stream source separated waste in accordance with By-law S-600, as amended from time to time. This designated space for source separation services shall be shown on the building plans and approved by the Development Officer and Building Inspector in consultation with Solid Waste Resources. 4.6.2 All refuse and recycling materials shall be contained within a building, or within suitable containers which are fully screened from view from any street or sidewalk. Further, consideration shall be given to locating of all refuse and recycling material to ensure minimal affect on abutting property owners by means of opaque fencing or masonry walls with suitable landscaping.
