Common use of Sole Representative Clause in Contracts

Sole Representative. For the purpose of proper and efficient communication, it is expressly understood between Northern and the Shipper that Northern is the sole representative of Shipper, USC and the Sugar Company for all services stated or contemplated in this Agreement and that all communication, verbal or written, relating in any way to the rates, terms, conditions, and performance of this Agreement be accomplished solely between Northern, Northern Mine's Representative and Carrier. The only exception to the above will involve day-to-day communications between USC or the Sugar Company and the Carrier pertaining or relating to railcar switching from and to the Sugar Factory or such switching or destination related operations.
