Small Works. Works estimated to cost less than $15,000 equivalent per contract, may be procured under lump-sum, fixed-price contracts awarded on the basis of quotations obtained from three (3) qualified domestic contractors in response to a written invitation. The invitation shall include a detailed description of the works, including basic specifications, the required completion date, a basic form of agreement acceptable to the Association, and relevant drawings, where applicable. The award shall be made to the contractor who offers the lowest price quotation for the required work, and who has the experience and resources to complete the contract successfully.
Small Works. Works estimated to cost less than $250,000 equivalent per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed $1,500,000 equivalent, may be procured under lump- sum, fixed-price contracts awarded on the basis of quotations obtained from three qualified domestic contractors in response to a written invitation. The invitation shall include a detailed description of the works, including basic specifications, the required completion date, a basic form of agreement acceptable to the Bank, and relevant drawings, where applicable. The award shall be made to the contractor who offers the lowest price quotation for the required work, and who has the experience and resources to complete the contract successfully. Small Works. 9.1 The Service Provider shall carry out small works requested by the Estates Department at the Client’s cost. 9.2 The cost of any work shall be agreed between the two parties prior to the commencement of the work. 9.3 The Service Provider shall not be obliged to carry out any Small Works until the cost of such has been agreed.

Small Works. (a) PPP Co. will carry out Small Works at the request of the Authority. (b) [ • ] days before the Service Commencement Date and the commencement of each subsequent Contract Year, PPP Co. will propose a schedule of rates to be agreed with the Authority (the “Small Works Rates”), such agreed rates to be applied in respect of any request from the Authority for Small Works to be completed during that Contract Year. Small Works. (a) PPP Co. will carry out Small Works at the request of the Authority. (b) Thirty (30) days before the Planned Service Commencement Date for each Project Facility and the commencement of each subsequent Contract Year, PPP Co. will propose a schedule of rates to be agreed with the Authority (the “Small Works Rates”). PPP Co. shall ensure that such proposed Small Works Rates shall provide value for money to the Authority with reference to those rates prevailing for comparable works and services in the Irish market, and in any event, any percentage increase in the proposed Small Works Rates shall not exceed the construction price index published by the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, applicable at the date of the proposed Small Works Rates are submitted to the Authority for its approval. (c) The Small Works Rates agreed pursuant to Clause 30.3(b) shall be applied in respect of any request from the Authority for Small Works to be completed during that Contract Year. The value of any Small Works will consist of materials and labour (including plant) only and shall be calculated on the basis that:

  • Library Borrowing privileges available without charge. Upon retirement an employee shall be issued a permanent individual library card.

  • Work The definition of work, for overtime purposes only, includes: 1. All hours actually spent performing the duties of the assigned job, rounded to the next quarter hour; 2. Travel time required by the Employer during normal work hours from one work site to another or travel time prior to normal work hours to a different work location that is greater than the employee’s normal home-to-work travel time and all travel in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws; 3. Vacation leave; 4. Sick leave; 5. Compensatory time; 6. Holidays; and 7. Any other paid time not listed below.

  • Firmware 7.1 The Supplier must deliver the equipment, Goods or hardware equipped with all the firmware required to use all the Goods or hardware’s functions. Any software embedded in the equipment, Goods or hardware, including the firmware, is provided to the Local Government with a license to use this software, with all license costs and royalties being included in the Fee Schedule (Schedule C). All firmware will be the most recent version available at the time of shipping.

  • Work Made for Hire Any work performed by Executive under this Agreement should be considered a “Work Made for Hire” as the phrase is defined by the U.S. Copyright Act of 1976 and shall be owned by and for the express benefit of the Bank and its affiliates and subsidiaries. In the event it should be established that such work does not qualify as a Work Made for Hire, Executive agrees to and does hereby assign to the Bank, and its affiliates and subsidiaries, all of his rights, title, and/or interest in such work product, including, but not limited to, all copyrights, patents, trademarks, and propriety rights.

  • Curriculum Development This includes the analysis and coordination of textual materials; constant review of current literature in the field, some of which are selected for the college library collection, the preparation of selective, descriptive materials such as outlines and syllabi; conferring with other faculty and administration on curricular problems; and, the attendance and participation in inter and intra-college conferences and advisory committees.
