Common use of Single Shift Clause in Contracts

Single Shift. HEAVY HIGHWAY Eight (8) hours work per day between the hours of 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday, shall be the normal working time of all employees covered by this Agreement. Starting and quitting times may be expanded by mutual consent of the Employer and the Union. BUILDING Eight (8) hours work per day between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday, shall be the normal working time of all employees covered by this Agreement. Starting and quitting times may be expanded by mutual consent of the Employer and the Union.
