Sideburns. Sideburns shall be neatly trimmed and not extend below the bottom of the ear. The base of the sideburn shall be a clean-shaven horizontal line. Sideburns shall be of uniform width from top to bottom with no flare at the base unless connected to a ▇▇▇▇▇.
Sideburns. 1. Sideburns shall not interfere with the proper placement and usage of face masks and other firefighting equipment.
2. Sideburns will be neatly trimmed and close to the face so that they:
a) Do not protrude or are grown thick to create an imperfect seal when the face mask is worn or used, or
b) Do not interfere with proper placement and usage of other firefighting equipment.
3. Sideburns shall not be more than one inch wide.
4. Sideburns shall not extend below the bottom of the earlobe.
5. The base of the sideburns shall be a clean-shaven, horizontal line.
Sideburns. Sideburns shall not extend below the bottom of the outer ear opening (the top of the earlobes) and shall be trimmed and neat.

Sideburns. You may have sideburns if they are neatly trimmed and tapered in the same manner as your haircut. Sideburns must be straight and of even width (not flared or cut to a point) and end in a clean-shaven horizontal line. They may not extend below the lowest part of the outer ear opening.
Sideburns. (1) The length shall not extend beyond the top of the ear lobe.
(2) The width shall not exceed 1¼ inches at the broadest point.
(3) The growth shall not be more than ¼ inch in depth.
