Short Work Week Clause Samples
The Short Work Week clause establishes a reduced number of working days or hours for employees compared to the standard work schedule. Typically, this clause outlines the specific days or hours employees are expected to work, such as a four-day workweek or fewer daily hours, and may address how compensation, benefits, and overtime are handled under this arrangement. Its core practical function is to provide flexibility for both employers and employees, often to accommodate operational needs, improve work-life balance, or respond to economic conditions.
