Short Term Service. Any Employee shall, upon her or his request and presentation of appropriate military orders, be granted a military leave of absence to engage in a temporary tour of duty with the National Guard or any recognized branch of the United States uniformed services, not to exceed fifteen (15) consecutive calendar days in any calendar year, under the following conditions:
