Shared Rides Clause Samples

The Shared Rides clause defines the terms under which multiple passengers may share a single vehicle for transportation services. Shared Rides. In the event that multiple passengers can be carried at the same time without any passenger riding for more than 45 minutes, mileage for the shared rides will be determined in the following manner: The shortest possible route distance for each passenger will be determined using scheduling software or a mapping system such as Mapquest® or Google Maps®. The shortest possible route distance for each passenger utilizing the shared ride will be reported on the trip sheet summary included with the monthly invoice.
