Common use of SEVERABILITY AND INTENT Clause in Contracts

SEVERABILITY AND INTENT. If any provision of this Agreement is declared by any Court having jurisdiction to be invalid, such provision shall be deemed deleted and shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this Agreement, which shall continue in full force and effect. If the removal of such provision would result in the illegality and/or unenforceability of this Agreement, this Agreement shall terminate as of the date in which the provision was declared invalid. This Agreement is not intended by the PAYOR or the PROVIDER to be a third party beneficiary contract and confers no rights on anyone other than the parties hereto.
