Settling Grievances. Prior to initiating the formal grievance procedure, the parties recognize that an ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ effort shall be made to resolve the problem in the employee's department. Settling Grievances. Employees should attempt to resolve the issue with their immediate supervisor if at all practicable. Should this not be possible, the following procedures apply: Step 1 The aggrieved employee or employees will submit the written grievances to the management office within twenty (20) calendar days of the event or knowledge of the event giving rise to the grievance. Management will give a written decision within fourteen (14) calendar days after the receipt of the grievance. In the absence of management, the employee, or employees, will give the grievance to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.
