Common use of Service Dates Clause in Contracts

Service Dates. Except where required by this Agreement or by applicable federal or state law, the CONTRACTOR shall not make payment for the cost of any services provided prior to the effective date of eligibility in the CONTRACTOR’s MCO. The CONTRACTOR shall make payment for the cost of any covered services obtained on or after 12:0 1 a.m. on the effective date of eligibility in the CONTRACTOR’s MCO.
