Separation Procedures. Upon voluntary separation from regular service, an employee will be paid for the employee’s accumulated vacation hours. This payout is contingent on the employee providing the District with at least two weeks written notice of resignation or retirement. Situations involving emergencies may be reviewed by the Superintendent or their designee, for consideration to waive the two-week requirement on a case-by-case basis.
