Seminars. All Residency Candidates must attend any seminars scheduled during the semester. The seminars are designed to prepare the candidate for his/her Teacher Performance Assessment (edTPA) that is completed during Residency II. Failure to attend the Residency seminars will affect the candidate’s performance on the Teacher Performance Assessment and will affect the Teacher Candidate’s overall grade for the Clinical Residency Experience. This could also impact their ability to obtain licensure.
Seminars. The weekly teaching workload is 32 regularly scheduled class contact hours where the principal instructional delivery mode is through the seminar method. The annual workload will consist of 1024 hours of seminar class contact hours.
Seminars. An employee shall be eligible for registration costs, travel expenses and full pay to attend seminars which are related to employment within the School District, if given prior approval by the Central Administration Office. An employee shall be eligible for mileage reimbursement when travel is requested by the Administration.
Seminars. Workshops not taken on District time or at District expense; nine (9) hours is equivalent to one half (1/2) a unit.
Seminars. All applications for training assistance must be submitted prior to registration in the course. The employee shall initially pay the tuition fees, with reimbursement provided on proof of successful completion of the program.
Seminars. Upon written request at least two (2) weeks in advance, leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority may be granted to Union Officers and Stewards to attend education seminars, provided it does not unreasonably interfere with operations. Not more than one (1) employee shall be given such leave of absence from any one school at the same time.
Seminars b. Conferences sponsored by professional or technical associations, industries, colleges, universities, or governmental agencies.
Seminars. TREB will invite Jutvision to speak and promote its -------- Production Services at appropriate seminars and training sessions TREB conducts for TREB Members during the Term. TREB will have the opportunity to review seminar content prior to the seminar date. TREB or its sales representatives will distribute to TREB Members at seminars and training sessions subscription forms and marketing materials created by Jutvision that promote the Production Services..
Seminars. The Employer will pay registration and material costs for all full-time employees who have completed one (1) year of employment with the Employer to attend job-oriented seminars or continuing education programs approved by the Employer. The employee will notify their supervisor as far in advance as possible. Approval for reimbursement for such programs may be limited based upon departmental budget restrictions and the availability of similar training without cost to the Employer (such as when the Employer offers similar training in-house). If approved for education assistance reimbursement, the employee will submit a copy of any certificate of completion to their supervisor to be placed in their personnel file. For either Degree/Certification programs or Seminars, the course must be job-oriented and offered by an approved education/training institution.
