Selection; Organization. The Executive CommitteeBoard shall be selected under the terms of Section 737.3 of the JPA agreementAgreement. The President shall chair the meetings of the Executive Committee. The Member or Member group that selects its representative to the Executive Committee shall also designate by name an alternate to the Committee. Members and alternatesExecutive Board shall select a Chairperson and may select a Vice Chairperson and other officers it deems necessary. Members of the Executive CommitteeBoard shall serve two-year terms, with the exception of the Marin County Sheriff, and may be elected or reappointed at the annual meeting of MERAin the discretion of the appointing authority consistent with the provisions of Section 7.3 of the JPA agreementAgreement.
