Selection: Emergency Situation. An emergency situation is defined as one in which the time available to secure the services of a term employee is not sufficient to permit adherence to the 14 calendar day posting requirement of subsection 15.2.1.2. In such cases, the designated supervisor in collaboration with the Department Chair, shall be responsible for making the appointment.
