Secular Program. The Program offered by the Head Start shall comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations regarding the secular nature of programs receiving public funding. It is understood that violation of this provision shall be deemed a breach of this Agreement and shall be the basis for immediate termination pursuant to Section XI of this Agreement. FREE PROVISION OF PROGRAM The Head Start Grantee shall not charge parents or families of children in the program any registration or other fees to participate in the Program, if the children are eligible for the program, free of charge. Head Start eligible families must have their income verified in accordance with the Head Start Program Performance Standards (2016)-45 CFR Chapter XIII, Subchapter B, 1301-1305) and any other applicable Head Start regulations. All slots partly funded by Head Start must be Head Start income eligible. The Head Start Grantee shall not require parents or families of children to participate in wrap-around services in order to be eligible for enrollment in the Program. SITE SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATIONS The Head Start Grantee shall have a Site Supervisor meeting the qualifications set forth in the Manual of Requirements for Child Care Centers (N.J.A.C. 3A:52 et seq.) and the Elements of High Quality Preschool Programs (N.J.A.C. 6A:13A et seq.) and the Head Start Program Performance Standards (2016)-45 CFR Chapter XIII, Subchapter B, 1301-1305) for each center. The Site Supervisor shall be a position responsible for the daily site operations of the center, will be equivalent to a full-time position, and will be on-site at the Head Start site unless his/her presence is required at a District, Head Start, DOE, DCF, or program related function. Request to attend required functions should, by any entity other than Head Start, should be made in advance to the Head Start Director or designee to ensure the orderly function and proper ratios and coverage are in place.

  • Mentor Program a. Each new Bargaining Unit Member (first year employee) shall be assigned a mentor. An exception may be made, as determined by the Superintendent, for new part-time Bargaining unit Members of whom have prior service in the same program operated by the Board. The mentor shall assist the new Bargaining Unit Member in general teaching procedures, techniques, classroom planning and organization, school functions and regulations and other areas of professional growth and development. The Association President in collaboration with the Lead Mentor/Resident Educator Coordinator and appropriate Directors shall submit nominations of three (3) qualified staff members to the Superintendent, after obtaining the candidates’ permission. The Superintendent may elect to nominate one of the candidates to the Board of Education for assignment, or ask the Association President and Lead Mentor/Resident Educator Coordinator for additional nominations.

  • Other Programs The Executive will, during his employment under this Agreement, be included to the extent eligible thereunder in all employee benefit plans, programs or arrangements (including, without limitation, any plans, programs or arrangements providing for retirement benefits, incentive compensation, profit sharing, bonuses, disability benefits, health and life insurance, or vacation and paid holiday) which may be established by the Company for, or made available to, its executives generally.

  • Dental Program The State will provide a dental plan for the employees and their family. The coverage shall be $1,200 under the dental program to be effective upon the expiration of the current dental program. Effective January 1, 2009, the following dental change shall be in effect: Dental plan crown coverage shall be changed to 80%.

  • Retirement Program Any employee employed prior to October 1, 1977, working at least seventy (70) hours per month shall by law be a member of the Washington Public Employees Retirement system (PERS) Plan One. Any employee working at least seventy (70) hours per month, entering employment on or after October 1, 1977, shall by law be a member of the School Employees Retirement System, Plan Two or Three. The District shall provide each new employee information concerning PERS or SERS membership benefits.

  • Resident Educator Program The four-year program is designed to provide newly licensed Ohio educators quality mentoring and guidance. Successful completion of the residency program is required to advance to a five-year professional educator license.

  • New Programs All tax deferred retirement plans and designated Xxxx (after tax) program providers must complete appropriate hold harmless and indemnity agreements as determined by the Park Hill School District Business Office

  • EDUCATION PROGRAM Measure 1a Is the school implementing the material elements of its Educational Program as defined in the charter contract? Meets Standard: The school implemented the material elements of its Educational Program in all material respects, and, in operation, the education program reflects the essential terms as defined in the charter contract, or the school has obtained approval for a modification to the essential terms. Measure 1b Is the school complying with applicable education requirements? Meets Standard: The school materially complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations and provisions of the charter contract relating to education requirements, including but not limited to: • Academic standards, including Common Core • Graduation requirements • State assessment and student testing • Implementation of mandated programming as a result of state or federal funding, including Title I and Title II funding Measure 1c Is the school protecting the rights of students with disabilities? Meets Standard: Consistent with the school’s status and responsibilities as a school within a single LEA under the State Department of Education, the school materially complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations and provisions of the charter contract (including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act) relating to the treatment of students with identified disabilities and those suspected of having a disability, including but not limited to: • Equitable access and opportunity to enroll • Identification and referral • Appropriate development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Section 504 plans • Operational compliance including the academic program, assessments and all other aspects of the school’s program and responsibilities • Discipline, including due process protections, manifestation determinations and behavioral intervention plans • Access to the school’s facility and program to students in a lawful manner and consistent with students’ IEPs or Section 504 plans • Appropriate use of all available, applicable funding Measure 1d Is the school protecting the rights of English Language Learner (ELL) students? Meets Standard: The school materially complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations and provisions of the charter contract relating to ELL requirements (including Title III of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act [ESEA] and U.S. Department of Education authorities), including but not limited to: • Equitable access and opportunity to enroll • Required policies related to the service of ELL students • Proper steps for identification of students in need of ELL services • Appropriate and equitable delivery of services to identified students • Appropriate accommodations on assessments • Exiting of students from ELL services • Ongoing monitoring of exited students

  • Retirement Programs The Company agrees to provide Employees with the benefits under the Magna Group of Companies Retirement Savings Program as set out in the Employee Retirement Savings Program Booklets.

  • Safety Program The Contractor shall design a specific safety program for the Work for the site(s). The Contractor shall establish and require all Subcontractors to establish reasonable safety programs. The Contractor shall also submit its standard monthly safety reports to the Owner and Design Professional. No imposition of responsibility on the Contractor for safety under this Contract shall relieve any subcontractor of its responsibility for safety of persons or property on or near the Project Site. The Contractor shall include in his plant he names of the person in charge of Safety.
