Common use of Section 14.2.1 Clause in Contracts

Section 14.2.1. Step 1. 13 Employees will first discuss the grievance or complaint with their immediate supervisor and the 14 employee will document the date of the discussion. If employee wishes, they may be 15 accompanied by an Association representative at this discussion. All grievances not brought to 16 the immediate supervisor in accordance with the preceding sentence within twenty (20) work 17 days of the occurrence will be invalid and subject to no further processing. The Supervisor will 18 have twenty (20) workdays to resolve the grievance.
