Common use of Sectarian Activities Clause in Contracts

Sectarian Activities. CONTRACTOR agrees that this Agreement will not provide for the advancement or aid to any religious sect, church or creed for a purpose that is sectarian in nature, nor will it help to support or sustain any school, college, university, hospital or other institution controlled by any religious creed, church, or sectarian denomination. However, in accordance with Presidential Executive Order No. 13279, issued December, 2002, CONTRACTOR shall also provide and promote equal treatment to all faith-based organizations in administering its federally-funded activities.
