Secondment/Special Projects. A nurse who has been granted approval by the Chief Executive Officer or designate for a secondment in the Health Sector or to serve on special projects for the Association may be given a leave of absence without pay for a period of up to two (2) years. There shall be no loss of seniority or service of such leave. Salary and applicable benefit arrangements will be maintained by the Employer. The Employer shall be reimbursed for the full cost of salary and applicable benefits by the Association or by the agency to which the nurse is seconded. The nurse agrees to notify the Employer of her intention to return to work at least four (4) weeks prior to the date of such return.
