Common use of Scheduling Preferences Clause in Contracts

Scheduling Preferences. 42.1 Employees will make vacation requests by a deadline of February 1 in each year if they wish to exercise seniority on scheduling preferences. Requests received after the deadline will be on a first-come, first-served basis for vacation until the next deadline. 42.1.1 In expressing their vacation preferences, subject only to CLS's operational requirements, employees will have a guarantee of vacation in at least one (1) of three (3) "prime times".
