Common use of Scheduling in Advance Clause in Contracts

Scheduling in Advance. Employees should schedule and request sick leave for non-emergency medical, dental, optical, psychological, or alcohol/drug counseling appointments as soon in advance as practicable. In the case of a need for an extended period of sick leave, daily requests for leave will not be required, as long as the employee has informed the employer of the expected duration of their need for the leave.
