Salary Step Progression. 19.2.1 An employee must have received an overall rating of “Satisfactory” on his/her most recent performance evaluation and been paid for a minimum of 1,040 hours in the previous twelve (12) months to receive any salary step advancement. Part-time employees must complete a pro-rata number of hours in order to qualify for a step progression (i.e., a half-time employee must complete five hundred twenty (520) hours to qualify for a step progression). 19.2.2 On July 1 and each July 1 thereafter, full-time employees who are eligible will progress one step up to Step 6. 19.2.2.1 When an eligible employee completes eight (8) calendar years of service in the District, that employee may be granted an increase of one (1) additional salary step on July 1 not to exceed Step 7. 19.2.2.2 When an eligible employee completes ten (10) calendar years of service in the District, that employee may be granted an increase of one (1) additional salary step on July 1 not to exceed Step 8.
