Common use of Safety Provision Clause in Contracts

Safety Provision. The contractor shall, at his own expense, arrange for the safety provisions indicated in Annexure 'C' or as required by the Engineer, in respect of all labour directly or indirectly employed for performance of the Works and shall provide all facilities in connection therewith. In case the contractor fails to make arrangements and provide necessary facilities as aforesaid, the Engineer shall be entitled to do so and recover the costs thereof from the contractor.
