Common use of Safety Manager Clause in Contracts

Safety Manager. If Contractor, its Subcontractors and/or Sub-subcontractors have over fifty (50) employees collectively on the Jobsite, Contractor shall be required to have a full-time safety manager on Site during execution of the Work. It shall be Contractor's responsibility to flow this requirement down to the Subcontractors and Sub- subcontractors. Owner reserves the right to review the qualifications or have Owner's Representative review the qualifications of those proposed to execute the duties of safety manager and approve them. Safety managers will have functional accountability to Owner's safety manager.
