Common use of SAFETY EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES Clause in Contracts

SAFETY EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES. ‌ No employee shall be required to provide at his/her own expense safety equipment, supplies, or protective garments, including, but not limited to gloves and/or masks, to perform any task for a client. The Employer shall provide both latex-free and powder-free options for gloves, and shall dispense the gloves in such a manner as to safeguard the sterile conditions. If such a situation arises where there are insufficient supplies or materials, the employee will report the situation immediately to his/her supervisor. The Employer will make a good faith effort to provide assistive technology, (i.e., Xxxxx lift, lift belts, etc.) for client transfer.
