Other Deductions. Voluntary payroll deductions made to the Union for employee benefits will be submitted at the same time as regular dues deductions. No later than the fifteenth (15th) of each month, the Union shall receive a benefit register for each benefit listing each employee, the amount deducted, and the purpose of the deduction.
Other Deductions. Upon receipt of written authorization, the District shall deduct from the salary of employees, premiums for those insurance and annuity programs which have been approved by the Association and the District. The sums which are deducted as premiums for approved insurance and annuity programs shall be forwarded in accordance with the written authorization.

Deduction for tax sheltered annuities shall be transmitted to authorized companies within five (5) business days of each pay day. The Board shall allow teachers to make changes in these deductions in any month as long as the Human Resources Office receives written notice prior to the month in which the deduction is to become effective.

After inspection by owner’s representative, appropriate charges will be deducted for any unpaid sums due under the rental contract, including but not limited to (see #4 and #5 above) damages, repairs or replacement to the unit or its contents. The number of deductions for voluntary benefits such as union dues and cancer insurances will be a maximum of twenty (20) deductions. The BTU-TSP agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Board, each individual Board member and all administrators against any and all claims, costs, suits or other forms of liability, and all court costs arising out of the application of the provisions of this section.
