Safeguards to be in Place. Business Associate shall abide by all applicable provisions of the Security Standards and use all appropriate safeguards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of PHI the covered entity or business associate creates, receives, maintains, or transmits and prevent the use or disclosure of PHI other than as provided for by this Agreement. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing sentence, Business Associate shall: Implement Administrative, Physical and Technical Safeguards that are required and those that are reasonable and appropriate to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Electronic PHI that it creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of KDADS as required;
