Safe Working Responsibilities. It is the responsibility of every employee to insure that the workplace is free from hazards that could cause injury or illness to any employee. Therefore, it is the responsibility of every employee to follow all rules, policies, procedures and common sense workplace activities that have been established to reduce the possibility of injury to them self or other employees. Failure or refusal of any employee to comply with paragraph 7.4 (1) above that could result or does result in the injury or illness of the employee or any other employee shall be subject to the appropriate disciplinary action including termination of employment.
