Root Pruning. i. The Proposer shall use clean, sharp pruning tools with metal cutting blades. If pruning a diseased tree, Proposer shall disinfect pruning tools by dipping tools into a 10% bleach solution or wiping with a disinfectant spray, before moving on to non-diseased roots. ii. The Proposer shall remove adventitious roots that have grown into soil and/or mulch above soil grade. iii. Pruning cuts are to be clean and smooth with no rough or torn wood or bark remaining. iv. The Proposer shall dispose of any debris generated during pruning operations.
