ROMAN CODED FONT PROGRAMS Clause Samples

The "Roman Coded Font Programs" clause defines the specific type of font software covered by the agreement, namely those that generate Roman-script characters. This clause typically clarifies that only font programs designed to produce Roman alphabets, such as those used in English or other Western European languages, are included under its terms. By specifying the scope in this way, the clause ensures that both parties understand which font technologies are subject to the agreement, thereby preventing ambiguity about coverage and reducing the risk of disputes over non-Roman or other specialized font programs.
