Common use of Road Relocation Clause in Contracts

Road Relocation. 1. Before the Contractor initiates any development within the Expansion Premises, the Contractor must relocate the existing roadway connecting Aviation Drive and the Dulles Toll Road (VA-267) as seen in Exhibit 1-B, hereafter referred to as the “On Ramp,” at its sole cost and expense. 2. The Contractor shall develop a road relocation plan that must be submitted and approved by the Airports Authority prior to the relocation of the On Ramp. The Contractor shall abide by the Airport Authority’s requirements as set forth in Section 7.02 herein regarding the relocation of the On Ramp. 3. During the road relocation project, the Contractor shall not, at any time, inhibit the free flow of traffic on the On Ramp until such time as the new road is completed and opened for use. The Contractor may close the On Ramp with the approval of the Airports Authority.
