Road Closures. Adequate provisions shall be made for passage of emergency vehicles and local traffic at all times. All planned road or lane closures shall be accomplished in accordance with instructions in the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). In addition, the Contractor shall notify the County Road Department (▇▇▇) ▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ (County Engineer at (▇▇▇) ▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇ or ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇@▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇) and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ (GDOT Area 2 Manager at (▇▇▇) ▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇ or ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇@▇▇▇.▇▇.▇▇▇) 48 hours prior to any road closure, to receive permitting. In the case of an emergency closure, notification to the Fire, Police, and other Emergency Services is the responsibility of the contractor and County contacts must be notified as soon as possible. This work shall be included in the Lump Sum Price for Item 150, Traffic Control.
