Road Closures. Roads will be closed for public travel when deemed unsafe by a Road & Bridge Supervisor. The correct procedure to follow when closing a road is:
Road Closures. The execution of the Road Development may result in temporary and/or permanent closures of certain municipal roads as depicted on the Road Development Plan. Where a municipal road has been closed, either temporarily or permanently the Parties agree that they have considered and provided alternative routes or accesses where necessary as also (and if applicable) depicted on the Road Development Plan. SANRAL shall notify the Municipality at least thirty (30) days in advance of the closure of a specific municipal road in order to allow for the Municipality to make adequate arrangements for traffic control. The Municipality consents to the proposed road closures as indicated on the Road Development Plan and the Municipality confirms that it is satisfied, in as far as such confirmation is required in terms of SPLUMA, Provincial Legislation or the By-Law, with SANRAL’s planning, designs insofar as it relates to road closures, as depicted on the Road Development Plan and Annexure A and confirms that no further or additional process(es) relating to access, processes already completed or provided for herein are required for the purposes of a land use application. The Municipality is satisfied that the information provided by SANRAL insofar as it relates to road closures as recorded herein, is sufficient for a land development application.
Road Closures. After completion of log hauling and Project Work No. 2, the following road segments shall be closed: Points C to D and E to F These road segments shall be waterbarred and closed by constructing a barrier which makes the road impassable to vehicular traffic. Final road closures are subject to STATE approval.
Road Closures. Adequate provisions shall be made for passage of emergency vehicles and local traffic at all times. All planned road or lane closures shall be accomplished in accordance with instructions in the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). In addition, the Contractor shall notify the County Road Department (000) 000-0000, Xxxx Xxxxxx (County Engineer at (000) 000-0000 or xxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx) and Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx (GDOT Area 2 Manager at (000) 000-0000 or xxxxxxxx@xxx.xx.xxx) 48 hours prior to any road closure, to receive permitting. In the case of an emergency closure, notification to the Fire, Police, and other Emergency Services is the responsibility of the contractor and County contacts must be notified as soon as possible. This work shall be included in the Lump Sum Price for Item 150, Traffic Control.

Road Closures. In the event an employee is scheduled to work but is unable to reach their work site due to road closures, the employee will receive their normal pay while absent.

In addition, the roads at Points D, M, N, O, P, and R shall be closed by constructing a barrier which makes the road impassable to vehicular traffic. Road Closures. Each Municipality shall institute and comply with a cooperative notification program, in a format prescribed by the County, that ensures the County is promptly notified and promptly provided with data reasonably requested by the County regarding all municipal roads in the Municipality that are closed for any reason, including but not limited to construction of Transportation Surtax Projects, other construction, or flooding.
Road Closures. The Authority may at any time temporarily or permanently close or consent to or request the closing of any such roadway, and any other area at the Demised Premises presently or hereafter used as such, so long as a means of ingress and egress reasonably equivalent to that provided in 16.1 above is concurrently made available to Company. Company hereby releases and discharges the Authority, its successors and assigns, of and from any and all claims, demands or causes of action which Company may now or at any time hereafter have against any of the foregoing arising or alleged to arise out of the closing of any street, roadway, or other areas used as such, whether within or outside the Demised Premises, provided that Authority make available to Company a means of ingress and egress reasonably equivalent to that provided in 16.1 above.
