Common use of Rights of the Assignee Clause in Contracts

Rights of the Assignee. Upon such acceptance and recording by the Paying Agent, as of the Assignment Effective Date, (i) the Assignee shall (if not already a party) be and become a party to the Credit Agreement and, to the extent provided in this Assignment and Assumption Agreement with respect to the Transferred Interest acquired hereunder, have the rights and obligations of a [Committed Lender] [Conduit Lender] thereunder and hereunder, and (ii) the Assignor shall, to the extent provided in this Assignment and Assumption Agreement with respect to the Transferred Interest transferred hereby, relinquish its rights and be released from its obligations under the Credit Agreement.
