Rights Act. The Employer may require a Duty Report respecting the of any employee while off duty or while acting in the execution of duties, or in response to any Public or Internal Complaint. The Report may be used for the purpose of counseling or discipline, but is for the internal purposes of the Employer Police Service. The Report shall be submitted in a timely manner, within five (5) working days of a written request for same and shall be written in the first person. A request for extension beyond days must be done in writing to the Chief of Police. The Alliance recognizes that the Oath of its members as Sworn Peace Officers, the Oath of Confidentiality, and the Treaty Three Police Service Code of Conduct require the performance of the Officers’ duties or off duty conduct to be carried out with the highest degree of integrity. The Alliance acknowledges and agrees that the telephone system of the Employer is solely for the private and confidential business use of the Employer, and that the communications thereon are monitored periodically. Subject to Articles and the telephone system is not to be used for the Employees’ personal purposes, save for necessary and brief family communications.
Rights Act. The Department Head shall issue a written notice of the proposed action to the employee which shall contain the following:

An employee shall give the Employer four (4) weeks’ notice of the date the employee will begin pregnancy leave pursuant to this Article; and the date the employee will return to work upon completion of the leave unless the employee will take the maximum leave to which the employee is entitled.
Rights Act. Where an employee makes a complaintto the Human Rights Commission, the complaint shall not be arbitrable and no grievance shall be filed by the Alliance in respect of such complaint. There shall be no discrimination in respect of employment by reason of membership or activity in the Alliance. An allegation of such discriminationis subject to the Grievance Procedure.
