Right to Stop Payment and Procedure for Doing So If you have told us in advance to make regular payments out of your account, you can stop any of these payments by calling or writing us at the telephone number or address referenced below in this disclosure in time for us to receive your request three (3) business days or more before a payment is scheduled to be made. If you call, we may also require you to put your request in writing and get it to us within fourteen (14) days after you call. We will charge you according to the Schedule of Fees provided to you earlier in other documentation furnished when you opened your account(s) for each stop payment order you give.
Additional Procedures Applicable to High Value Accounts 1. If a Preexisting Individual Account is a High Value Account as of December 31, 2013, the Reporting [FATCA Partner] Financial Institution must complete the enhanced review procedures described in paragraph D of this section with respect to such account by December 31, 2014. If based on this review, such account is identified as a U.S. Reportable Account, the Reporting [FATCA Partner] Financial Institution must report the required information about such account with respect to 2013 and 2014 in the first report on the Account. For all subsequent years, information about the account should be reported on an annual basis.

City’s Right to Suspend for Convenience City may suspend all or any portion of Contractor’s performance under this Contract at its sole option and for its convenience for a reasonable period of time not to exceed six (6) months. City must first give ten (10) days’ written notice to Contractor of such suspension. City will pay to Contractor a sum equivalent to the reasonable value of the goods and/or services satisfactorily provided up to the date of suspension. City may rescind the suspension prior to or at six (6) months by providing Contractor with written notice of the rescission, at which time Contractor would be required to resume performance in compliance with the terms and provisions of this Contract. Contractor will be entitled to an extension of time to complete performance under the Contract equal to the length of the suspension unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the Parties.
Right to Reject Investment In contrast, we have the right to reject your subscription for any reason or for no reason, in our sole discretion. If we reject your subscription, any money you have given us will be returned to you.
Retention of Records, Right to Monitor and Audit (a) CONTRACTOR shall maintain all required records for three (3) years after the COUNTY makes final payment and all other pending matters are closed, and shall be subject to the examination and/or audit of the County, a Federal grantor agency, and the State of California.
BUY AMERICA REQUIREMENT (Applies only to Federally Funded Highway and Transit Projects) With respect to products purchased by Customer for use in federally funded highway projects, Contractor shall comply with all federal procurement laws and regulations with respect to such projects, including the Buy American provisions set forth in 23 U.S.C. Section 313, 23 C.F.R. Section 635.410, as amended, and the Steel and Iron Preference provisions of Texas Transportation Code Section 223.045, to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs. With respect to products purchased by Customer for use in federally funded transit projects, Contractor shall comply with all federal procurement laws and regulations with respect to such projects, including the Buy American provisions set forth in 49 U.S.C. Section 5323(j)(1), 49 C.F.R. Sections 661.6 or 661.12, to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs.
No Right to Subcontracting Subcontractor may not subcontract, either part or in whole, the Services authorized under this Agreement.
Right to Regulate and Levels of Protection 1. The Parties recognise the right of each Party to establish its own levels of domestic environmental and labour protection, and to adopt or modify accordingly its relevant laws and policies, consistently with internationally recognised standards and agreements to which they are a party.
