RIGGING Sample Clauses
The RIGGING clause defines the responsibilities and requirements related to the installation, adjustment, and removal of rigging equipment used for lifting or supporting loads during a project. It typically specifies which party is responsible for providing rigging materials, ensuring that all equipment meets safety standards, and overseeing the safe execution of rigging operations. For example, the clause may require the contractor to supply certified riggers and maintain compliance with relevant regulations. Its core function is to allocate responsibility for rigging activities, thereby minimizing safety risks and clarifying obligations to prevent disputes or accidents on site.
