Reusable packaging. This type of packaging is intended to be used for several cycles in order to reduce the amount of packaging waste, to prevent the entry of cardboard particles in the production process and if possible to realise cost savings. A high proportion of the costs of a reusable solution is made up of the expenditure for the return of the empties. Therefore, folding or nestable constructions are preferred as variants that reduce shipping volume. „Kleinladungsträger“ = "Small load carriers" can be reusable containers, proprietary developments of a manufacturer or standardized containers offered by several manufacturers (e.g. VDA-KLT). „Sonderladungsträger“ = "Special load carriers" = Especially designed container for the particular application or project. „Universalladungsträger“ = "Universal load carriers" = containers, whose usefulness is not limited by the end of the project or by changes of the packaged goods. „Euro-Palette“ = "Euro pallet" = 800 x 1200 mm, reusable pool pallet „ISO-Palette” = "ISO pallet" = 1000 x 1200 mm, reusable pool pallet „Einweg-Palette“ = "Disposable pallet" = 600 x 800, 800 x 1200 or 1000 x 1200 mm Defines the maximum weight of the bearing load that a packaging component or unit can bear. Container-stacking-factor 2 corresponds to three layers of containers per pallet… Pallet-stacking-factor 0 indicates a pallet that cannot bear an additional load, e.g. of a second pallet. Pallet stacking factor 1 indicates a pallet that can bear the load of one further pallet with maximum the same weight. Pallet-stacking-factor 2 indicates a pallet that can bear the load of two further pallets with maximum the same weight of the first pallet. Reusable packaging. 1. Packaging placed on the market from [the date of entry into force of this Regulation] shall be deemed to be reusable where it fulfils the following conditions:
(a) it has been conceived, designed and placed on the market with the objective to be re-used multiple times;
(b) it has been conceived and designed to accomplish as many ▌ rotations as possible in normally predictable conditions of use;
Reusable packaging. Reusable package may be used for expensive packaging. The main and expensive parts of the package can be reusable. This can be achieved easily by using a low-cost, replaceable external case. The external packaging must be replaced after each delivery to obtain a clean package ready for the next shipment.
Reusable packaging. Reusable packaging must be set apart and controlled to be returned to the vendors. Examples: Printer cartridge/toner, etc.
Reusable packaging. 30.1 The Customer will return all pallets and any re-useable packaging provided with Goods and indemnifies Hi-Tech Metals for the full replacement cost thereof, if not returned to Hi-Tech Metals promptly and in good order.
